Amanda has recently been appointed as a High Streets Expert for the High Streets Task Force as well as being a Design Council BEE (Built Environment Expert) and sitting on a number of Design Review Panels in and around London.

Amanda founded her practice AR Urbanism in 2007 to specialise in sustainable masterplanning approaches for complex urban sites and the practice has evolved to concentrate on major town centre regeneration projects around the UK. The practice has regularly received awards as winners and finalists in masterplanning competitions in the UK and Scandinavia, while current projects include the Mayflower Quarter masterplan, Southampton and town centre masterplans for market towns in the Midlands and East Anglia. Amanda also regularly acts as an expert witness on design matters to planning inquiries and presents to conferences on town and city regeneration, urban design, masterplanning and design quality.
