DAM and the Digital Experience

Kristine Crawford Castay

Digital Operations; Asset Specialist

New Balance Athletics, Inc.

Kristine started her work in the DAM industry at the height of the pandemic in 2020 when New Balance had to change the way sample product was shared with R&D, Sales, and Markets across the globe. Not having worked in the data field before, but always up for a challenge and using her knowledge and skills in a new way, she jumped in without hesitation and hasn’t looked back.  With her redefined role, Kristine is quickly becoming a Subject Matter Expert in all things Metadata.

Delving deep into the DAM world, she is educating herself in Taxonomy, Data Governance, Process Documentation. Kristine, along with the Digital operations team, is rebranding their DAM for a broader audience, and providing training and insights for all users.

Kristine has a background in Marketing, as well as administrative support. Her focus has always been on the end user. She has active roles in New Balance ARG’s, volunteers at the local food pantry, the Girls and Boys Club, as well as being involved with local beach and open space conservation groups, and is a member of her local Rotary Club.

What others say

This was my first Henry Stewart DAM Conference in my 15-year career of Digital Asset Management and I am so grateful to David Lipsey and the team for the opportunity to connect with other likeminded individuals and gain more knowledge and use the learnings to bring back to my team. Looking forward to what's to come!

HS DAM events are one of the few opportunities to get together with other DAM professionals, speak to multiple vendors, learn, and make connections.

The HS DAM NYC conference was a great way to learn about new developments in the field, compare practices with colleagues, and make new DAM friends and connections. It was awesome!
