Creative Operations New York 2023

Kate is a lifelong creative advocate whose work focuses on the connection between creativity and process. As the Creative Operations Director for New York State’s full-service production house, she helps public agencies connect with the New Yorkers they serve, bolstering campaigns with subjects ranging from cannabis legalization to the current statewide rollout of the 988 Crisis Lifeline. She is passionate about keeping creative people creative, and works tirelessly to remove barriers to big ideas through process change.

Kate previously worked for Aha Media Group, partnering with hospitals to build plain-language content to help patients understand complex medical diagnoses and scenarios. She also served as a senior marketing manager and copywriter for Ubisoft Entertainment, leading a six-year creative campaign for the Just Dance brand. Kate is currently working on a book of poetry and in her spare time she enjoys weightlifting, and family fun with her husband and two young children
